About the role The Royal Statistical Society is a modern and friendly work environment with a small staff of lively and dedicated individuals.The current pandemic has caused us to move many of our face-to-face events online. We’re looking for someone to help us facilitate those events and share the footage across our social media channels.This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to work with a friendly team and utilise their technical skills to support an organisation whose members are currently doing some important work in tackling coronavirus.The job is likely to entail working from home initially until we’re able to go back into the office; interviews will take place via Teams.As Web and Multimedia Officer, you will organise and provide technical support to online and hybrid events. You will film/record events, edit and upload them to social media.You will help maintain our website and online content. You will also provide ad hoc basic IT support to our staff and stakeholders.You will be a self-motived individual who can work with minimal supervision and a quick learner with a sharp eye for detail.It is not necessary to have any statistics or maths qualifications or any experience working in those fields.
