Job Description

We have an excellent role for an experienced Front of House person to be a Waiter / Bartender at this fabulous country style Pub in the heart of Chelsea.About the companyThe pub was founded in 1846 and not only are they a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! They are lucky enough to be able to wind back their roof in the conservatory for thoselong summer lunches too. Alongside their a la carte menu they have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, every day but also contains hearty pub classics and roasts run all day on a Sunday.About the roleAs well as being an upbeat, customer focused person you must have the flexibility to work weekends and evenings. Duties will include:

  • Welcoming customers
  • Reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences
  • Confident to make recommendations
  • Take drink orders
  • Plan drink menus
  • Inform customers about new beverages and specials
  • Able to select and mix ingredients and garnish glasses
  • Prepare and serve beverages in the bar and restaurant
  • Clean and maintain your working area
