Job Description

We are currenty recruiting for a Vulnerability Management Project Manager to join the Application Security Operations IT group at a international investment bank.Department Overview:Application Security Operations is a global entity responsible for Access Management, Application Resilience and Infrastructure Vulnerability management within the bank. Within Vulnerability Management, the activities include managing and enhancing globalmarkets response to Infrastructure Vulnerability remediation.Purpose & Scope of roleReporting to the Global Head of GM Application Security Operations, the GM Vulnerability Management Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Managing the Infrastructure Vulnerability Remediation projects, as aligned with the IT scope and strategy
  • Creating a roadmap for vulnerability remediation within the GM scope of assets
  • Build a strong relationship with Infrastructure, APS and ADM teams, ensuring key milestones are adhered to.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and deadlines and that adequate activity tracking is performed in the relevant group tools.
  • Ensure a high level of accountability and ownership of the various stakeholders on all tasks and deliverable they produce, leading again by example
  • Ensure full visibility is given to management on project progress but also on daily activity, load, risk, and prioritization.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Manage the Infrastructure Vulnerability Projects as aligned with the Application Security Operations Strategy
  • Build strong relationships with IT and Business stakeholders globally.
  • Form strong partnership with GM APS and ADM peers to contribute to consistency across production resilience topics.
  • Instil strong awareness with clear responsibilities within the various project key stakeholders.
  • Work closely and synchronously with APS, ADM, IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by engaging in and acting on regular feedback.
  • Escalate risks and issues to Management.
Experience, Qualifications & Competencies
  • Track record of managing projects with global deliveries.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and software vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability and compliance scanners as well as automated pen-testing tools (e.g.: - Tanium, Nexpose, Qualys etc..)
  • Knowledge of Global Markets applications
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, rapidly adaptable to change.
  • Good knowledge of SDLC and production environment.
  • Knowledge of Standard Delivery methodologies (e.g.: ITSM).
  • Accountable, Pro-active and an excellent team player as well as a motivation-driver.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Delivery-focused and organised.
  • Collaborative and inclusive mindset
