Rates & Currencies Product team is focused on delivering product solutions and project management to the Sales & Trading business. We are committed to hiring the brightest and best techno-functional experts and in return can offer roles that will require direct business interaction on projects covering electronic trading, Risk management and implementation of complex derivative systems. We need a data analyst who has extensive experience on working on Big Data and able to extract critical information that aides in regulatory, management and CAO reporting needs This job offers an abundant opportunity for the right individual to showcase their creativity & business knowledge in providing data related system solutions to the trading & sales business. Key Responsibilities

• Work as a product manager for the various Data platform & transform into tangible business intelligence
• The individual will be the go to person for the business stakeholders for various forms of data and analytical information.
• The individual will partner with development, business and support teams to build an understanding of the varied and complex business functionality supported by Citigroup financial systems.
• This is a hands-on role that will offer exposure to the various asset classes and the data needs of the front office business and CAO teams across the globe.

Key Relationships:

• Close interaction with the Traders in the Hubs and Local Markets globally
• Close working with BCS and Rates CAO team members
• Rates Support teams

Knowledge/Experience:

• At least 10 years of relevant work experience on data projects in the financial services industry.
• Excellent data analytical skills, with strong prior experience & understanding of financial products.
• Excellent knowledge of Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate products.
• Knowledge of Emerging Markets and their peculiarities, nuances.
• Good project management capabilities.
• Good knowledge on the regulatory policies related to banking

Skills:

• Expert on technology platforms like QlikView, Tableau, PowerBI etc.
• Extensive working knowledge on VBA, Python, SQL, VBA and MS Office.
• Intermediate/Expert on Agile development platforms. Conversant with the development lifecycle and tools used (e.g. JIRA, Kanban, Scrum boards etc.)

• Excellent technical and business knowledge to successfully deliver on data projects with quick turnaround times.
• Systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to testing and problem solving
• Ability to persuade and influence staff at all levels, with diplomatic but assertive approach in dealing with people
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with a proactive attitude, always seeking opportunities to add value
• Experienced in working on multiple issues & enhancements in parallel
• Demonstrate Creativity and Curiosity in/outside work.
• Demonstrated passion to own a data projects with experience in delivering critical business projects.
• Politically astute with sound judgment. Build effective working relationships across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Have a strong moral compass and a governance/controls mind-set. Proactively identify, escalate and manage risks in the process. Focused on doing the right thing for the bank and its clients.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic. Challenge the status quo.
