Responsiblefor originating profitable business opportunities for all Natixis product lines but in particular ASF, DCM, GSCS, M&A & FX.Strategy & Business Planning

• Maintain good understanding of economic and financial data likely to affect the origination and distribution of Natixis products
• Formulate origination & distribution strategies and business plans
• Establish high level contacts at target clients.
• Develop knowledge of clients and their needs.
• Position Natixis product lines to match our capabilities with client needs.
• Prioritise allocation of scarce resources (e.g. RWA, liquidity) to the client base
• Ensure transaction execution meets client and Natixis requirements.

Reporting and Communication

• Communicate on and co-ordinate the efficient execution of transactions when required.
• Ensure that information on client needs and potential business opportunities flows freely to management and to relevant business line teams.
• Report to coverage, business line and UK senior management on the progress of the business and specific issues.

Control

• Ensure clients are suitably classified (under FSA rules) and are dealt with appropriately
• Ensure clients are cleared by Credit, Legal, Compliance and Back office before trading.
• Ensure complex products are adequately reviewed by relevant control functions (risk, compliance...)

Financial Performance

• Aim to maximise long term profitability and return on equity within the context of the group strategy.

Communication

• Network with contacts in the business to generate cross selling business opportunities with a focus on value added transactions.

Risk

• Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client, resulting from successful conclusion of transactions.
• Monitor the counterparty/ credit risk embedded in the client relationships.

Legal & Regulatory Responsibilities

• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time. Financial Security requirements, includingbut not limited to the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Maintain and develop product knowledge. Complete all mandatory training as required to maintain competence.
