VP of Engineering - Leading Web / Mobile Saas Platform - AWS / Laravel / REST / REACT100k PackageLondonVP of Engineering required to oversee all aspects of software development for SaaS solutions, including architecture, design, planning, staffing, quality assurance, and production hosting. This hands-on technical management role is action and solution orientedwith an emphasis on collaboration across the organization. The ideal candidate is an expert in the latest patterns for SaaS software and has a track-record of leading technical change.The VP of Engineering will have a passion for helping your team achieve software greatness with experience leveraging data & analytics to drive outcomes. They are bringing together best-of-breed commerce solutions in the service sector, forming one service commerce platform that improves go-to-marketstrategy for technology companies and simplifies the software-buying process for business owners. Our ecosystem enables companies to thrive in an environment of shared knowledge and resources with significant cost savings.Our SaaS platform runs on AWS with PHP 7, MySQL/RDS storage with Laravel 7 framework via REST APIs , Accessed via Web, Tablet and Mobile interfaces across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, globally. For the front end we use React , ReactNative, Vue and Angular.VP of Engineering - Responsibilities:

• Lead product and development teams to predictably deliver products and services
• Partner closely with business leaders to define product strategy, roadmaps, and deliverables
• Oversee application development, testing, and implementation of our cloud and mobile software
• Support current applications and customers and implement new enhancements
• Effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems with customers
• Set the vision for an environment of ingenuity and creativity and act as a role model for others in challenging the status quo to encourage innovation

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of technical leadership experience, preferably in an environment leveraging open-source technologies for a product-based SaaS company
• 10 + years of experience in web-based software development
• Early career experience with full-stack enterprise application development, mobile application development and/or data science/engineering
• Proven track record for designing, building, optimizing, and delivering quality features for SaaS and mobile products
• Experience in Agile development methodologies and technical project management and patterns in web-based software development, including: Front-end platforms such as Angular or React , APIs and RESTful services , Mobile app development frameworks such asXamarin or React Native , DevOps and AWS , Database and SQL
