Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sell memberships and sponsored events, digital media and thought leadership to leading asset management organizations and other services providing firms within a particular territory within Europe/Middle East.
  • Service and renew existing accounts, upsell existing clients and prospect new accounts in allocated territory.
  • Function as a strong client advocate; build trusted relationships, understand and communicate II’s integrated solution-oriented wealth management programs and resources to clients.
  • Initiate, develop and enhance relationships with outside agencies and other responsible buying firms. Complete RFP’s issued by agencies on behalf of client firms.
  • Work alongside Content, Marketing and Investor Relations teams to develop and grow the sales pipeline and cultivate prospect relationships.
  • Update Salesforce regularly with all relevant client information, notes and opportunities.
  • Initiate and participate in extensive networking at both internal and external industry events to prospect and cultivate existing client relationships and generate new business ideas and leads.
The role requires:
  • Proven business development track-record.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills; able to communicate effectively to c-suite and senior level executives.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, client focused and persuasive influencer.
  • Knowledge of the financial markets, asset management industry and segments, in particular the wealth management and intermediated markets in Europe and the Middle East.
  • Advanced experience using Salesforce as a CRM for pipelines, analytics and reporting.
  • Consultative listening and selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize.
  • Time management skills; organized and ability to multitask.
  • Travel required.
