The business line is core to Experian’s strategic plans and a critical element of its growth ambitions now and in the future. Currently comprised of three main product lines, GDA uses the latest in advanced analytics to help businesses build and protect trusted relationships with customers. Decision Analytics achieves this in a number of ways, whether that be through business intelligence and strategy to turn complex data into actionable insight or through fraud compliance and management to minimize fraud losses while preserving the customer experience.GDA is the only global product line and occupies a market leading position in Experian’s main regions across a multitude of industry verticals – notably in financial services, telecommunications and public sector. Competitors include FICO, CRIF, Equifax, IBM, PEGA, SAS and many smaller, niche providers. GDA is split between three divisions; Decisioning, Identity & Fraud and Analytics, summarized briefly in this chart below: ROLE MISSION STATEMENTExperian are currently recruiting a VP, Automation to join their Global Client Delivery & Customer Success Team. The VP, Automation is responsible for improving the cost-of-delivery and speed-to-value performance goals by assessing, designing and applying advanced process and automation improvement techniques to both Global and Regional Delivery and Customer Success functions. Accountability includes ensuring that Experian’s new SaaS software configuration and deployment processes have been defined and mapped across programme workstreams and global/regional functions while leading process designs, establishing process ownership and setting up performance metrics. The VP, Automation will also be responsible for establishing the integrated approach to process improvement and automation across SaaS and the wider product (hosted and on-premise) portfolio.The primary goal will be to deliver high levels of client satisfaction and operating efficiency through well executed, end-to-end, process improvement plans leveraging advanced automation to the fullest extent possible.Overall, this role is fundamental to ensure that the business meets its objectives, exceeds customer expectations, and demonstrates continuous improvement resulting in client satisfaction.CORE FUNCTION• Process Design, diagnostics and improvement using Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Dev Ops and Design Thinking• Process automation leveraging RPA/RDA, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Ansible and other Dev Ops and automation technologies• Application of Artificial Intelligence and other type of cognitive techniques where applicable • Proven experience working in a global and matrixed environment and having previously led a global/virtual team. • Previous experience in enterprise software configuration and deployment within regulated financial sector industries would be an advantage • Hands on Productivity Leader-practitioner with experience assessing and applying process and automation techniques in a complex enterprise and regionally distributed environment • Experience working across large and complex enterprise-wide software delivery environments is a requirement; looking for opportunities to improve speed-to-value, relative cost containment, agility within a software and data-centric environment• Will be able to reference examples of leading the creation of automation and process improvement business cases and securing investment to drive process improvement activities• Develops long-term relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring they have all the relevant information available.• Customer and output focused.• Excellent written and oral communication and influencing skills, with the ability to present process improvement opportunities effectively.• Capacity to pro-actively transfer knowledge, train and mentor other resources in the company. • Ability to motivate and engage a global team, whilst sensitive to cultural differences and customs; • Organisational and time management skills.• Proven ability defining and executing on the Programs purpose and direction in terms of vision, mission, values and objectives • Proven track record of development of business cases & subsequent delivery to commitments• Ability to encourage innovation & deliver/fail fast in a proof-of-concept driven environment• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to scope & design effective projects – focused on rapid/iterative delivery of business benefits and outcomes • Strong understanding and application of Program and Project Management competencies including stakeholder management, contractuals, scope, schedule, costs, quality, communications, risk, procurement, and integration• Strong understanding and application of software release management competencies • Strong ability to manage relationships whilst maintaining trusted relationship with team and peers. Effective leadership, coordination, motivation, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills • Financial literacy to forecast and manage programme & project budgets• Experience of project governance against improved project delivery lifecycle processes and escalated risk mitigation and issue resolution • Ability to identify and manage project resource requirements • Superb problem solving and analytic
