We are now working with a major asset management firm managing a $multi portfolio of assets for their clients. They are now looking to recruit a VP into their team, who will working on the reporting of ESG to investors. In the role you will:Create andmanaging content, design and the approach taken for the firms Investment suite of Sustainable/ Responsible Investing reporting collateral i.e. Annual Responsible Investment Report and Engagement and Voting reporting.Work with internal /external stakeholdersto build and develop scalable processes /templates and incorporate reporting into the wider reporting package.Provide expert advice and support to help identify appropriate ESG content, metrics and case studies that demonstrate the being a Responsible Investor.Support investment teams to articulate their Sustainable / Responsible approach across different asset classes and different styles and applications of ESG Integration.Stay up to date with existing and emerging regulatory client reporting requirements,market practices and standards development.Contribute to the teams PRI assessment and submission process.Develop expertise in third-party vendor ESG data sets and how these interact with our client requests and regulatory reporting requirements andintegration strategies.Coordinate ESG data training for ESG Integration across strategies. Candidate background They are interested in meeting VP level professionals with a genuine interest in ESG analysis and reporting who will have a background as follows:A keen eye for detail and ability to produce high quality content writing, marketing or journalist background desired. Knowledge of ESG reporting standards and regulation including TCFD, SASB, the EU Sustainable Finance Directive and the revised UK StewardshipCode preferable. Solid understanding of ESG Rating approaches for investment managers. Understanding of ESG factors, different approaches to and applications of ESG would be highly desired. Technical understanding of different types of sustainability datawould be an advantage (e.g. GHG emissions, energy, water, waste, social data etc.). Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol, SBTi, CDP, TCFD etc.). Demonstrated knowledge of ESG and Sustainability and working technicalproficiency/command of investment management concepts. Industry experience Candidates will have preferably gained experience within an investment manager involving writing Responsible / Sustainable investment related content e.g. in a client facing investmentrole or in a product role or similar. At least eight years of professional experience in a relevant asset management, client servicing or investment marketing role.
