Vermillion Developer/Lead sought by leading investment bank based in Edinburgh **Inside IR35 - Umbrella/PAYE Only** 8+ years of overall experience that includes 5+ years in the financial services industry (preferably in investment banks or software reportingproduct provider). Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Vermillion Development. Intensive experience in the analysis, design, development and support of large complex applications. Bachelors degree / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech (in computers, informationtechnology or engineering)/MCA. Required skills Expertise in Client Reporting Tool -Vermilion Reporting Suite. SQL and scripting knowledge Ability to create shell and batch scripts to processing file movements between servers via AutoSys scheduler, email andsFTP protocol Experience in following agile project delivery methodology. Experience in writing complex SQL, data file processing using ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica. Experience in report writing using Crystal, Business Intelligence or similar 3rdparty reporting tools. Exposure to SQL Server and Oracle database, with leading coding languages such as .Net or Java would be a plus Should have worked on various phases of client reporting. Should be able to read BRDs and work on the client requirementin the mentioned time period. Should be able to create the customized templates, which includes connector, data source, component, sections. Should be able to create the customized Workflow, which includes obligation, tasks, process flow. Should be well versedwith the report generation criteria. Experience with production implementation process of the reports. Experience with Investment banking Reports and modules. Should be able to work with data mart development team.
