The firm have acted for a large amount of the top 100 UK Sunday TimesRich List and a significant number of the US Forbes List.The Corporate and Venture Capital team has been at the centre of the UKs thriving technology and life sciences sectors for over a decade, advising on some of the most high-profile venture capital financings in that time. On the investor side, clients includemany leading venture capital funds. Advising founders and companies from inception to exit, the team also has a thriving M&A practice with a particular focus on venture-backed M&A. The team also form a core part of the firms global Life Sciences group, whichhas a successful record of transferring technology and launching spin-out companies from notable universities, research institutions, and tech accelerators.The firm are now seeking to add a new member to its Corporate and Venture Capital team, who will lead on core venture capital work, as well as being given the opportunity to support the wider corporate team within the firm. As part of the role, you wouldmanage all aspects of corporate and venture capital work relevant to IP-rich, high-growth technology and life sciences companies, overseeing and developing other members of the team.The corporate and venture capital team advises clients at all stages of a companys life-cycle, and you would be expected to be as comfortable advising on early-stage company formation and pre-seed financings as you would advising on later-stage ventureand growth funding rounds and exits and specifically M&A.You will act for a range of clients, from entrepreneurs embarking on their first company and scientists spinning out innovative research ideas from universities, to seasoned and serial founders and investors in the venture capital community and mature companies.The role will also provide you the opportunity to drive forward a particular sector or area that is your passion within our expanding global practice and take advantage of the exciting opportunity to be a part of the firms strategic growth across EU, APACand US.The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years PQE in Corporate and Venture Capital work, gained from a highly regarded International or City Firm in London.
