Job Description

Vehicle InspectorCalling all Vehicle Technicians / MOT testers / Car mechanic / Service Technicians / Diagnostic Technicians / Master Technicians! Does your current workplace offer these fantastic benefitsTHE ROLE OF A VEHICLE INSPECTOR This role is based from your home and is then field based (you are not required to report to a central base every day). You will be visiting businesses and customers on their own site, carrying out vehicle inspections on a range of vehicles.You will be required to carry out your role to an exceptionally high standard ensuring quality, accuracy, efficiency, all undertaken with a professional and courteous manner. The role will respond to instructions from the deployment centre that will arrangeappointments on your behalf, broadly within a defined geographic region. Inspections will cover such activities as pre-purchase inspections and warranty evaluations.THE REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience within a mechanical position in the motor trade
  • Flexible attitude – no two days are the same!
  • Strong customer service qualities
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to write clear Engineer reports based on findings.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or substantial equivalent experience)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
