A UK property group are recruiting for a VAT Manager to join their London office. About the job Manage UK VAT compliance and advisory process and provide indirect tax support to the business, being primarily property development and property investment.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES High level review and authorise for filing VAT returns (already reviewed by tax accountant) Manage VAT elections & compliance material. Review CIS returns (low volume) and oversee process with occasional HMRC correspondence. Review intrastatreturns (low volume), oversee the process and provide occasional advice to the business. Support on major transactions. Manage HMRC correspondence and maintain VAT property in-house data set. Provide posting guidance to the Accounts Team where required. Provideindirect tax support to transactions / restructuring projects as required. Provide VAT training to construction/residential/tax teams and communicate changes in practice. Use this platform to promote profile and develop into key indirect tax support for teamleads across the business. REQUIREMENTS CTA or ACA or ACCA is desirable. Real Estate Tax experience Strong Excel skills. Self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills. This is a relatively new role and the candidate will quickly developinto the point of indirect tax support for team leads across the business. Demonstrable experience of MTD
