VARIABLE HOURS LECTURER - BUSINESSWe are looking for a Variable Hours Lecturer to teach across a range of vocational Business courses at Level 1 to 3.To be successful for the role a relevant degree or professional qualification is required. Applicantswithout any qualifications but with substantial experience teaching their subject area may be considered. An appropriate teaching qualification or commitment to obtaining the qualification within the specified time period. To succeed in this position the successfulcandidate must have relevant vocational experience in a related discipline i.e. Business/ Business Management, Business Analytics and Business Marketing. You would be required to create and maintain accurate records on learners progress. You must have effectivecurriculum and lesson planning skills which meet individual needs. It is essential that you must have experience of teaching business to the 16+ in Further Education along with relevant industrial experience. You must also have excellent communication skillsand be able to inspire and motivate others. To prepare schemes of work and maintain such records as appropriate and directed.3. To contribute learning materials and assignments to the collective learning resources of the Corporation.4. To undertake detailedassessment and maintain other records as required.5. To mark registers, monitor student attendance and compete registration requirements.6. To participate in the Corporations quality assurance procedures as directed.7. To contribute to the action planningof students and provide interim and end of year reports as requested.8. To undertake course and curriculum development essential for own teaching.9. To participate in subject, course team and curriculum meetings and reviews, for which additional payment willbe made.10.
