Job Description

Van DriverSalary: £12ph Location: BecktonHours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pmMust Have:Full clean UK driving licenceMin 2yrs UK commercial driving experienceCustomer facing experience - Preferably within the health sectorMin 5yrs check-able employment historyAble to provide proof of eligibilityRequirements:

  • Must have physical strength/ be physically fit
  • Must have initiative to be able to work on independent tasks and as part of a team
  • Exemplary customer service skills a people person
  • Practical skills, ability to complete simple DIY tasks with power tools
We are recruiting for our client based in the Beckton area, they are a council owned company and are looking for a van driver delivering medical equipment to patients homes, providing community equipment, sensory support and wheelchair & specialist seatingservices to Newham residents. Installation may be involved, you will receive full training on this.You are required to driver a 3.5t van to various locations within Newham/East London. You may be required to work in the warehouse if all of your deliveries have been completed. Manual work is involved, you will have to help load and unload vehicle. EnhancedDBS desirable but not necessary as we can process one.Why work with Adecco:
