Value Stream Lead (Lead Enterprise Architect)We are seeking a pragmatic, detail oriented and experienced Lead Enterprise Architect to join our growing business. The ideal person for this role will have expertise gained from working in many industries they will be responsible for leading our Value StreamManagement Service (VSMS). Engaging with our client, partners, vendors, service, and product owners in support of realising strategic business initiatives and programmes through the effective application and governance of technology.You will form, lead, and drive the VSM service for the client, this team includes technical project managers, business analysts, a programme office, and technologists. The VSM Service consists of 3 streams and this role will manage the governance, oversight,strategy and planning across all 3. As the lead, you will be a trusted client advisor responsible for defining how the value streams can support their wider Business and Technology strategies.You will be expected to shape propositions and services, support sales activities, deliver client engagements, lead teams (on / near / far shore) and manage cross-functional client staff and stakeholders in a variety of contexts.This role will ensure that the VSM service contributes to and informs the development of both End-to-End Solution Architecture, System Architecture and Solution Design to ensure alignment to agreed strategic direction, governance, technology strategy and otherindustry best practice frameworks or guidelines.What youll need:

• Strong client and strategic partner stakeholder management
• Enterprise Architect (Integration)to oversee the creation and/or maintenance of an Enterprise Integration Strategy, interface catalogue and approved integration technologies.
• Enterprise Architect (Applications, Technology & Innovation)to drive modernisation and consolidation of applications and associated technologies across the organisation and to drive innovation initiatives that can accelerate this process.This may also include coordinating investments in areas such as DevOps, automation, and agile development principles.
• Enterprise Architect (Cloud and Infrastructure) - to work withpartners to oversee the creation and/or maintenance of a Cloud Strategy, to drive up Cloud Maturity and set strategic policies for cloud and infrastructure usage and adoption.
• Enterprise Architect (Business Architecture & Strategy) to lead on Business process change engagement and bridge the gap between business strategies and technology strategies. To provide an effective means to track high level businesscapabilities and requirements using approaches such as business capability mapping.

In your typical day youll be involved in:

• Input into the shaping value stream engagements
• Chair / Participate in appropriate governance forums including Design Authority Drive sustainable growth by meaningful technology transformation initiatives in line with business ambitions
• Steer the overall architecture and design efforts across ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
• Simplification and standardisation of the existing portfolio of processes, application, and infrastructure; horizon scan for new technologies and sunset those obsolete or out of support
• Reduction of costs and risks that may hinder operational efficiency
• Bridging the gap between strategic architecture and operational delivery
• Promote enterprise agility by bringing more agile and continuous delivery concepts in architecture practices and keeping governance lightweight and federated
• Reduce technical debt
• Develop and maintain enterprise roadmap/s
• Stay on top of industry trends and innovations providing the best services for customers and other stakeholders
• Enterprise portfolio management and provide input to planning
• Lead technology transformation and strategic changes
• Provide architecture governance and compliance across all programs (but avoiding cumbersome governance that may hinder Agile and DevOps processes)
• Define IT principles and performance measures for the architecture practices
• Identify and manage architecture risks
• Assess major technology investments
• Develop and maintain EA framework and governance processes
• Input into and drive the creation of go-to-market propositions
