You will join an exciting small team within the comfort of a large organisation undertaking real estate valuations. The role primarily entails assessing3rd party RICS valuations for year end audit purposes. The work itself can be fascinating as it is so broad in nature covering traditional and alternative asset classes from Offices & Retail to Infrastructure & Care Homes.Were happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, well support you to balance your work and life.A look into the role As a Manager within our Valuations team, you will:

  • Assess RICS Red Book Valuations for financial reporting purposes
  • Compile reports for the internal audit teams
  • Undertake a high degree of analytical focussed work within a time pressured environment
  • Report to the Head of Real Estate Valuations which forms part of the Valuations & Modelling (V&M) team
  • Have potential to work alongside the V&M team on intangible valuations as well
  • Hit the ground running managing their own assignments and work load with a high degree of autonomy. Our internal valuation reviews are undertaken on a desk top basis covering all 5x RICS methods of valuation on behalf of a variety of clients from FTSE 100,Prop Cos, REITs, & local authorities.
  • Not be expected to bring any existing clients or work load
Knowing youre right for us Joining us as a Manager, the minimum criteria youll need is to have:
  • RICS qualified with a minimum of 2yrs PQE
  • Preferably a Registered Valuer although this is not required.
  • Relevant degree and experience of having worked within real estate valuations.
  • You will have a thorough understanding of real estate valuations together with respective software packages.
It would be great if you had the following skill, but dont worry if you dont tick every box, well help you develop along the way.
  • A confident and highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and an ability to manage a number of projects simultaneously.
