Job Description

A leading Social Media Company based in London are seeking a UX Researcher to join their team on a contract basis for 11 months.They are looking for a mixed method generalist with a focus on qualitative research, with broad skills in design research methods, and an understanding of quantitative concepts. They should be very capable running IDIs, diary studies, and usability studies, and with both consumer and professional audiences.The right candidates will be strong communicators and relationship builders, deeply knowledgeable about digital design and design research, passionate about AR/VR, and will feel excited by an autonomous position where youll be expected to seek out impact and ruthlessly prioritise your own workload, with guidance and support from your manager.Preferred candidates will have experience in conducting impactful research to steer AR/VR products, or products in similar emergent tech fields.Skills and experience:

  • 3+ years experience in research for digital product innovation, HCI, information systems or related field
  • BA/BS degree, ideally in a human behaviour related field (HCI, Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, etc.)
  • MS/PhD in communication, information science, human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, sociology, market research or a related field
  • Experience conducting research for emerging early-stage technologies.
