Job Description

User Researcher, Agile, Digital, Development, SC Cleared Are you a User Researcher currently looking for a new contract Our client, a Technical Solution Provider is currently looking for a User Researcher to join their team for a short 3 month contact. Due to the nature of the work our client requires the successful User Researcher to hold Valid SC clearance. The role is remote however may require some travel to London/Croydon/Feltham.Working in a fast paced Agile environment the User Researcher will conduct user research activities for a range of government clients projects. The User Researcher will have the chance to work with users, subject matter experts, and product owners to understand the user needs for services.Responsibilities of the User Researcher:

  • Define, plan, and conduct user research to support the design & development of services
  • Work with user researchers and service managers to develop and advocate appropriate research strategies to understand user needs for a service, and to continually test and improve our services
  • Fostering a culture of team involvement
  • Facilitate evidence-based product and design decisions
  • Managing the usability and accessibility testing process
  • Deliver compelling insights to the product and design teams
    • Skills and experience of the User Researcher:
  • Experienced in user research techniques
  • Knowledge of GDS principles and practices
  • UX experience or the ability to sketch out designs for interfaces
  • Experience in Aviation projects will be a bonus
