Job Description

Qualified CPA / ACA Managers and Senior Managers with US GAAP and audit experience are required for this growing advisory service line in a Big 4 firm in London.Client DetailsThis Big 4 firm in London supports high profile clients as they undertake cross-border transactions, such as IPOs.This is a high profile role working with some of the worlds largest companies and offers an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to the dynamic world of international capital markets.The team has seen year on year double digit revenue growth and significant headcount increases.DescriptionThis Big 4 firm provides expert US GAAP and IFRS advice to a wide range of clients undertaking Capital Markets activity, including many US IPOs.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical accounting advice across a range of clients, capital raising strategies and locations across the EMEIA region
  • Produce reports and analysis on accounting issues related to capital raising strategies and regulatory matters
  • Develop your own portfolio of projects, taking responsibility for delivery on complex deadline-driven engagements, including internal control projects arising from UK Corporate Reform
  • Build strong relationships with international clients as you help companies execute their cross-border transactions
  • Based in London and with projects across Europe
Profile
  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA or US CPA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience auditing US - Listed companies
  • Extensive US GAAP and / or IFRS knowledge
  • Sound technical knowledge of PCAOB audits and SEC reporting including SOX
  • Experience leading assurance engagements in Manager role or equivalent
  • Strong communication, project management and problem-solving skills
Ideally, youll also have
  • Experience of working in a globally recognised accountancy practice
  • Experience providing assurance services to clients undertaking capital raising strategies is beneficial
