Job Description

An industry-leading virtual reality training company are looking to take on a Unity Technical Artist, on a long-term contract basis, in order to work across a number of VR projects they have coming up.The CompanyThe company in question are considered innovators in the VR training sector and have allowed business across the globe to fully realise their potential when it comes to new methods of training. They have strong relationships with a number of clients, having built up an impressive reputation with some well-known names. They are seen as a long-term strategic partner, helping their clients face any business challenges head on.Unity Technical Artist This is a great opportunity to for a Technical Artist to develop their skills in the virtual reality space, working with a large variety of well-known clients, on varying projects. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between the art and programming teams and providing solutions to problems across all stages of the pipeline.Unity Technical Artist Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Technical Artist
  • Expert using Unity
  • Proficient with C# and Python scripting
  • Knowledge of Shaders (HLSL)
  • Excellent knowledge of Maya and Photoshop, alongside knowledge of lighting
  • Experience in the VR industry is desirable, however not essential. Additionally, the client have noted that any background in UI will be looked upon favourably.In return, you will receive £250 - £300 per day and the chance to expand your background in the virtual reality industry.The interview process will be made up of two stages; including a detailed run through of your portfolio and a technical test.If this looks like the role for you, please apply now!
