OverviewAs an Underwriting Lead for Alternative Credit you will be responsible for delivering against the Alternative Credit EMEA strategy incorporating Direct Lending origination, corporate credit underwriting, and necessary CLO management. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting senior management with the growth of the EMEA Private Credit Investment platform
  • Playing a leading role in the coverage of the alternative corporate credit sector which includes due diligence and financial analysis of investment opportunities, management of portfolios and preparing investment committee materials
  • Working in partnership with Product and Coverage divisions to support the creation and development of fund marketing materials and contributing to key fundraising strategies
  • Driving LP and GP relations and monitoring and advising portfolio companies
  • Ensuring the delivery of agreed financial targets against the EMEA Private Credit strategy
  • Support the development of the Investment team and realtive high-performance culture, while ensuring that all activity is conducted in line with regulatory and firm requirements, policies and procedures
  • Working with partners across Corporate Functions to ensure the business meets demands of clients across multiple channels
Your Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive experience of originating and underwriting Corporate Private Credit transactions across a variety of debt instruments and complex holding structures
  • Strong technical analysis skills, with experience of conducting detailed due diligence and financial modelling of corporate credit investment opportunities across multiple sectors
  • Solid experience of Investment Committees and the associated preparation of materials to support their processes
  • Proven experience across private markets, with expert knowledge of LP and GP relations and management of portfolio companies
  • Experience of managing relationships with a complex client base, to help retention of existing and growth of new clients
  • Experience of effectively managing risk controls within an investments environment, with sound experience around the fiduciary duty of care and diligence
  • Educated to degree level in a Finance related discipline from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) or an acceptable level of industry experience
