Job Title: Underwriter Job Type: Permanent Location: London (Hybrid - 3-4 days in the office) Package: Competitive Are you in Underwriting looking for a new, exciting challenge Would you like to work for London Insurance SyndicateResource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Underwriter or a Broker to join our clients Binders Team and Focusing on Multiple Products , one of the UKs and US most well-reputed Lloyds Insurance Firms Role Objective: To underwrite business in accordance with the business plan and within delegated underwriting authority with the purpose of underwriting a profitable account on behalf of Client in the UK and Values demonstrated in the delivery and performanceIncluding but not limited to: * Positively promote the department, division and company as a whole, in order to maximize brand leverage* · Perform underwriting activities in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements to ensure obligations are met* Ensure the recording and measurement of [re]insurance risks, including delegated underwriting authorities (DUAs) where relevant, to ensure accuracy and good practice, assisting with the development or modify policy wordings as appropriate* Understand and comply with any reinsurance requirement to minimize risk and to deliver business plan objectivesRequirements* Establish, develop and strengthen relationships with stakeholders including customers, brokers, business partners and colleagues to maximise influence and achieve business objectives * Llyods Experience. within Broking or Underwriting * Demonstrate understanding and awareness of market dynamics and market cycle to drive and enhance business performanceStrong/established customer/broker relationshipsIf you think youll be a great fit for the role, apply at the earliest opportunity!
