UI Software Designer - Tech Start up £45-£55kThe clientI am currently working with a start-up who are on the lookout to expand their existing design team. They are a technology first company, who are experiencing a huge growth period and need a talented individual to join the team. They are looking for autonomous, hard working people who can bring a passion for design to the team. The role is currently 100% remote and will be until further notice.The candidate* You have demonstrable experience in shipping world-class digital products in cross-functional teams* Your focus is on delivering great experiences and solving problems* Youre a strategic thinker, and an expert in translating user behaviour into great user experience and design* You have a strong portfolio of case studies showing your skills across UI* You love to collaborate, and are at your best when youre working with research, design, product and engineering* Youre proactive, organised, curious, humble and empathetic, and you can multi-task across multiple work streams* 3+ years of software UI design or planning. Experience with mobile/internet brands is a plus;* Bachelors degree, major in art is a plus;* Fluency in English is a must, multilingual abilities is a plus* Must be passionate about creating products and connecting people and art;* A team player with great interpersonal skills;* Proficient in Sketch / Figma / Protopie / Axure / Adobe CC and Photoshop;* Entrepreneurial and comfortable with changing environments as well as multiple overlapping projects;* Experience within a business that sells physical goods * Last but not least, enjoy the hustle of a startup with the impact of a global business.Responsibilities* Contributing to a product roadmap together with product and design leads* Providing multiple design solutions efficiently in the discovery phase, and then craft exceptional, detailed UI experiences in the delivery phase Initiating research requests to help support your design projects* Constantly challenging yourself and the team on how we work, helping to adopt new practices and tools* UI design for Android app;* Work with our global Dev / Test / Product Design / Marketing teams to co-develop apps and other software services;* Establish the UI design code in line with the companys brand visual identity;* Design UI and user journey to ensure an experience in line with our mission and values.For more jobs in Tech and Design look at
