UI (Angular) Developer - Angular 7, React, Vue, Javascript, CSS, Jest, Cyprus, GIT, Investment, Financial Services, A new opportunity exists for a UI Developer with a financial services background to join the Systematic and Quant Tech department at a leading international investment company. The Systematic and Quant Tech department provides high quality software engineering expertise to the cross asset Systematic and Quant business teams. They work closely with members of the business teams to fulfil business driven data and functionality requirements, as well as driving business change through strategic initiatives that promote increasingly scaleable, modular and risk aware systematic solutions. An experienced and proficient developer is required to work alongside lead developers to set standards and create working patterns for more junior staff to follow. Key Responsibilities: Work with strategic change teams to develop a cross asset platform for systematic process and data surfacing. Contribute to agile working practices and tools selection and configuration to create a durable development platform for the future. Develop UI components as required in conjunction with business stakeholders to both fulfil immediate business needs and move the strategic platform forward. Essential Skills: 5+ years of frontend development 3+ years experience building applications with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) Experience with Angular 7+ is strongly desirable AGGrid experience desirable Node or Python experience Strong understanding of modern Javascript (ES6+) for creating high performance front end applications Strong on CSS and a CSS processing language such as SASS Automated code tools (eg.
