The Treasury Operations (TO) Executive will be involved in instructing payments, cash management, derivative reporting, static data maintenance and reconciliations within the Treasury Operations team. In addition to processing transactions to the highest standard,the TO Executive is responsible for the identification and successful resolution of incidents and the enhancement of processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cash Management - funding of the Group and subsidiaries. Calculating positions for cash and securities (Bonds/ CDs/ IRS/ Primary new Issues) and reporting to the Front Office. Collateral Management, ensuring margins are paid on time for Interest rate swaps(IRS)and Derivative products.
• Credit line and intraday credit monitoring to ensure payments are timely and have sufficient liquidity
• Understands the broader impact of the Treasury Operations function and applying this knowledge in effective issue resolution and process improvement.
• Establishing good relationships with customers/clients both internally and externally ensuring a consistent high level of customer satisfaction.
• Supporting the Treasury Operations Manager in developing a high-performance culture of process improvement, risk management and flawless execution.
• Ensuring that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required requirements.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:

• Analytically minded with strong Microsoft Office and data analysis skills such as pivot tables.
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written and has confidence in speaking to external clients and senior management.
• Experience in issue management, resolution, and prevention.
• Creative problem solving, and ability to identify root cause.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise under pressure.
• Ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Manages and prioritises multiple tasks and uses sound judgement to escalate issues timely.
• Cash Management experience. Funding multiple bank accounts and Entities, Interbank funding, Bank of England funding, FX funding, Repo and Security cash funding.
• Knowledge of Crest and Euroclear to enable settlement of securities.
• Payment processing and investigation and resolution of rejected transactions.

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:

• Quantum Treasury Management System (TMS) version 5/6 experience.
• Payment message types knowledge such as Swift MT202s and MT103s
• Derivative experience such as Interest rate swaps and FX swaps
• Experience in major European regulations (MiFID, EMIR, SFTR)
• Aware of Operational Risk frameworks and tools such as Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
