Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the Treasury Manager will be managing all aspects of treasury operations, leading treasury efficiency and transformation projects, and directly managing the junior analysts in the team. The role is based in London, withflexible working encouraged.Client DetailsA large UK housing association with a very commercially driven finance function. FTSE 100 sized in terms of market capitalisation however this business is not publicly listed.Description

  • Management and continuous development of a small team and all day-to-day treasury processes comprising of front office, middle office, and back office
  • Manage the necessary relevant Group records and systems including the preparation of the treasury section of the Groups financial statements, the maintenance of accurate records on the Treasury management system and the necessary legal documents and approvals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a risk management strategy and manage risks associated with areas under departments control
  • Responsibility over all operational controls
  • Ensure H&S, regulatory & governance compliance including compliance of the Groups treasury policies, regulatory returns and loan covenants
  • Developing, leading and implementing treasury efficiency and transformation projects, including ones from M&A activity and technological advancements
Profile
  • Minimum of 3 years of treasury experience required. Knowledge of housing is not required but is an advantage. Experience of planning and managing projects.
  • Experience managing people
  • Must have strong communication, presentation & influencing skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at various levels. Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Needs to be very organised with the ability to plan and prioritise work against challenging timetables and multiple deadlines
  • Professional qualification (AMCT, CIMA, ACCA etc) or in final stages towards one.
  • All round excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel. Basic VBA programming skills are required.
