Job Description

Treasury Manager - London - £50k to £60k + benefits - PermanentAlexander Daniels have been engaged with a growing organisation, based in London, to help them recruit an experienced Treasury Manager.The Treasury Manager will be reporting into the Group Reporting Controller with a dotted line into the Head of Finance. Currently all treasury matters for the business are undertaken by the Group Reporting Team. This newly created position aims to provide morefocus and rigor around all group treasury workstreams and will be supported by two members of staff who will move from the Group Reporting Team as a dedicated treasury resource.The Treasury Managers Responsibilities will include:

  • Carve out a dedicated treasury function, embedding new best practice for all treasury related workflows
  • Oversee and manage the share buy-back programme
  • Manage the renegotiation of the companys banking facilities
  • Manage the daily liquidity and cash position
  • Provide recommendations of investments and cash repatriation
  • Produce short and medium term cash forecasts, including centralising and co-ordinating input from business units and incorporating longer term forecasts and Group budgets
  • Design and implement a robust cashflow forecasting system, ensuring funds are available for scheduled distributions
  • Maximise interest earned and calculating the monthly interest accrual
  • Assist with investment modelling and developing business plans
The successful Treasury Manager will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
  • Professional treasury and / or accounting qualification (ACT/ACA/CIMA/ ACCA)
  • Ability to develop and analyse complex cash flow forecasting and funding models
  • Excel proficient
  • High ethical standards
  • Disciplined and analytical approach
  • Strong communication skills
