Job Description

  • The treasury balance sheet management team is responsible for all aspects of assessing and planning the banks liquidity and funding risk. This is a broad-based role with some cyclical tasks, writing the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process (ILAAP)for example, though largely the team is tasked with creating a value-add service internally to the revenue business lines and central functions to ensure the bank is managing its balance sheet in line with its risk appetite.
  • Tertiary educated with a post qualification (qualified or part qualified) in Accountancy (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Treasury (CertBalm)
  • An understanding of liquidity risk metrics either gained in 1st of 2nd line defence roles or within a liquidity regulatory reporting role
  • Data manipulation skills with the ability to formulate and analyse large sets of data on Excel
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail, for example in drafting presentations to the Executive committee
