Job Description

Job title: Loan Agreement Specialist (Transaction Management Loan Specialist)Location: London & home working (hybrid)Daily rate: £500 - £600 PAYEDuration: 9 monthsExciting opportunity for an experienced Transaction Management Specialist - Loans/ Loans Agreement Specialist, to working for a Global Financial Services organisation, based in London.Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class documentation negotiation and transaction management of loan and trade facilities and related transaction documentation with borrowers/obligors based in the Middle East Region. Maintain oversight of the deal closing process
  • Review and negotiate legal documentation across core corporate lending categories, with a focus on bilateral and syndicated working capital / term loan facilities and traditional trade finance facilities for EMEA clients, with a sound knowledge of bothLMA and market standards in notably U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia
  • Liaising with internal/external counsel to provide transaction documentation
  • Draw on expertise to suggest solutions for appropriate stakeholders (Corporate Bankers, Trade Finance Sales, Credit, Tax, etc) as necessary, ensuring they are brought into the debate in a timely manner to reach a resolution
  • Manage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution; including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiations
Successful candidate
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Loan (in particular LMA Bilateral and Syndicated Facilities) and Traditional Trade Products (Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Indemnity Agreements)
  • A sound understanding of credit execution, transaction management, credit products and banking processes
  • Solid decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to a resolution
  • Excellent coordination skills and a strong control mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, both internally and externally
  • Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently with senior deal team members within the Front Office globally
  • Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic
  • Lead by example; set high standards of performance for self and others
  • Ability and willingness to train junior colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment; must be a change leader
  • Think strategically and tactically to design process improvement ideas with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and priorities
