Job Description

Purpose of PositionThis is a contract position for a member of the Operations Team, which is largely responsible for preparation, input and reporting of all financial and analytical client data. The focus of the role is ensuring the accurate set up of investment vehicles,as well as the onboarding of new investors into the internal reporting system. Another key deliverable of the team is the input of all investment-related cashflows into the in-house database. This must be completed based on daily deadlines to facilitate bothtimely reconciliations and investor reporting. Responsibilities also include resolving cash breaks, answering queries from internal and external stakeholders, and instructing payments through several external banking portals.Key Responsibilities

  • Set up of all new investment information within Operating Systems.
  • Onboarding of all new Pantheon funds.
  • Inputting investment cashflows (drawdowns and distributions) into Pantheon’s in-house database, according to US GAAP standards.
  • Working with various teams to ensure information flows through accurately to the client reports.
  • Investigating and resolving cash breaks between Pantheon’s database and the investors’ bank accounts, as well as transaction booking discrepancies between the databases of Pantheon and that of our administrators.
  • Investigation and resolution of queries from internal stakeholders, administrators and investment managers (General Partners).
  • Working with the Transactions Control team to identify and resolve unfunded commitment breaks between Pantheon and our General Partners.
  • Using online banking portals to fund capital calls for certain investors and instructing internal transfers between bank accounts, on an ad-hoc basis. This includes performing call backs with payment beneficiaries.
  • Helping to identify areas for improvement in existing processes.
  • Working both independently and with colleagues on individual projects and seeing them through to completion
Knowledge and Experience Required
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Confident, articulate communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Thrives in a high-pace environment, working to daily deadlines.
  • Effective team player.
  • Experience of dealing with high volumes, where accuracy is crucial.
  • Strong focus on control and procedures is essential.
  • Knowledge of data management techniques.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • A desire to help streamline and improve processes.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
