Role Title:Training SpecialistReports To:Technical Training ManagerLocated: Aldgate, London Duration: Permanent Salary: £40,000-£43,200 p/a My RoleReporting to the Technical Training Manager, the Training Specialist will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering SoftSkills; process; systems; and technical training programs across the company, and to our outsourced business partners. This role will work with the Technical Training Manager to define the scope of training, develop training content and deliver training via classroom delivery onsite and offsite, remote delivery via Teams/Skype, or the development of online eLearning, using the chosen authoring tool, Adobe Captivate. The Training Specialist will be required to educate and develop internal staff and outsource partners in accordance with steer and direction provided from the Technical Training Manager. All training delivery essentially ties back to the company Strategy and future direction. This role will act as a central source of information (one version of the truth) for internal and external staff. The Training Specialist will ensure all delivery is on brand and signed-off by the appropriate business areas. My Priorities - what I will deliver*Liaise with the Technical Training Manager to support training needs across the Scheme and outsourced partners*Partner with the Technical Training Manager to ensure that internal and external staff are kept up to date with changes to Siebel and business systems*Ensure that new starters, returners and secondees have access to the required training*Understand and maintain learning management software for e-Learning - LMS365*Write and maintain training materials i.e. SharePoint Sites, workbooks, presentation materials, instructor guides, reference sheets, eLearning courses etc.*Analyse alternative delivery methods to ensure user learner needs and accessibility preferences are met effectively*Ensure all training materials and delivery is linked to the the companys Skills Matrix and Competencies, or added to the skills matrix accordingly*Ensure eLearning courses are categorised correctly in the LMS Course Catalogue and reviewed on a periodic basis*Develop and cultivate relationships with internal and external SMEs and Trainers to assist in the design, sign-off and delivery of training across the company and Partners*Ensure the accuracy and relevance of training material with business partners and project sponsors*Measure and monitor training effectiveness to ensure continuous learning improvement*Work with the Technical Training Manager to analyse and identify areas of improvement and training gaps requiring review and upskilling*Support the Technical Training Manager with training for Claim Handler and Contact Centre recruit intakes at the company and at Partner sitesMy Knowledge - what I need to know*A working knowledge of Client/Claim Management Systems and business systems*Experience creating remote and classroom training modules using MS Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint Adobe Acrobat or another dynamic medium*Experience in SharePoint Site design*A working knowledge of Learning Management Systems*A working knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or StorylineExperienceExperience of planning, developing and delivering soft-skills; process; systems; and technical training programs across organisations and to third party providers.Spring Engineering Solutions (a trading name of Roevin Management Services Limited) acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
