Trainer Assessor - Hairdressing 22.2 hours per week, Fixed term to August 2022.Continually striving for excellence and a strong Grade 2 College, Wigan & Leigh College is well underway on its journey to become Outstanding. You must be a highly skilled and motivated individual whose passion is to inspire students, to excel and achieve the highest standards of employability skills. Successful applicants will be required to teach L1, L2 and L3 Hairdressing. As a Hairdressingassessor you will be required to carry out group delivery and workplace assessments for apprentices working towards level 2 and level 3 apprenticeship standards. This includes carrying out reviews and setting action plans for apprentices, including SMART targets.The role will also include IQA duties within an existing team and developing the Colleges offer in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.Suitable candidates will hold or be working towards a recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1,V1 or equivalent), and ideally be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment using an electronic portfolio system.The College reserves the right to interview for this post should we receive suitable candidates prior to the closing date.
