Description of the Business Line or DepartmentThe Global Markets functions is a trusted partner to external clients (Corporates, Financial institutions and Asset Managers) in market activities, offering a cross-expertise in Research, Investment and Risk Solutions, Execution and Prime Services.The Global Markets functions is a trusted partner to external clients (Corporates, Financial institutions and Asset Managers) in market activities, offering a cross-expertise in Research, Investment and Risk Solutions, Execution and Prime Services.Societe Generale International Limited (SGIL) is Societe Generales primary booking hub for listed execution, clearing and financing activities within Societe Generale Global Market and a fully owned subsidiary of Societe Generale.SGIL primarily supports the Prime Services (MARK/PRM) and Commodities Agency (MARK/CTY) businesses, centralizing the booking of the following activities:

• Prime Services: Clearing and margin financing for listed and OTC derivatives (global hub), OTC non-cleared activity of Prime Brokerage clients, Listed FX facilitation, Agency execution for Equity derivatives and listed equity agency execution, Clearingcollateral management (regional hub)
• Commodities Agency: Agency execution, clearing and margin financing for listed commodities (global hub)

The entity also supports selected activities for the Equities & Derivatives (MARK/EQD) and Fixed Income & Currencies (MARK/FIC)

• Equity & Derivatives: UK originated cross-asset financing
• Fixed Income & Currencies: UK originated Fixed Income execution

As part of these activities, SGIL holds the general clearing memberships of European CCPs and holds client accounts for both CASS segregated and non-CASS segregated clients.Summary of responsibilitiesGlobal Execution Services (GES) provides client facing market execution and advisory services.Client Coverage Responsibilities (Internal and External Clients including market participants)

• Develop the business line strategy for SG profile in the market through market share, enhance individual and (if applicable) team reputation amongst clients
• Develop long term relationships with clients based on trust and professionalism
• Build, foster and cultivate client relationships in line with regulatory requirements
• Provide reliable backup and support as required for other colleagues within the team
• Maintain and develop strong interactions for both internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, GLFI, Syndicate, research, compliance, middle/back office, IT, eng and Risq etc.) and our customers.
• Develop the client franchise by having strong interaction with the sales and engineer teams. Work in partnership with sales team to communicate market flows, trade ideas and any relevant trading information to support revenue generation.
• Actively support sales staff with client pitches as required to contribute to revenue generation
• Grow the business in line with the SG group objectives and in co-operation with other stakeholders. In particular regarding the regulation and business principles, and the development of our customer franchise.
• Identify and introduce / refer cross-selling opportunities to other MARK business lines
• Work to optimize the business in terms efficiency and costs to minimize unnecessary expenses related to legal, clearing, listing etc.
• Responsible for managing budgets within the revenue targets given by management and to help ensure revenue targets are met as a team.
• Participate in industry events, provide content to related articles and represent SG as directed by SG management

Product Scope Responsibilities

• Pricing and execution of relevant product transaction on behalf of SG Clients. Making sure that all the procedural guidelines e.g. KYC, Mifid, risk controls and product governance are observed
• Take orders and execute on behalf of clients in accordance with SG Sales and Trading handbooks, risk and credit limits, SG compliance policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Implement team business plan to develop SG business as directed
• Manage his/her book and hedge risk appropriately
• Develop trading strategies and assist sales in developing pricing models as required
• Actively support enhancing IT development of tools and systems to develop SGs trading capability and efficiency (e.g. automation, pricing engines, development of analytical tools and new hedging as applicable)

Knowledge Management Responsibilities

• Maintain up to date intelligence on market initiatives and products in the trading environment
• Maintain understanding of financial markets, competitors and clients.
