Job Description

Trade Support Analyst - London - 11 month contract - £200-250 UMB per dayWe are currently recruiting for Trade Support Analyst to work for a major oil and gas company based in London on a 11 month contract. The primary purpose of the Trade Support Analyst is to validate trades entered into by our client, working closely with the trading teams to ensure the accuracy of the business trade system, and confirm trades with our clients counterparties.Duties:

  • Validate trader deal sheets/recap against the business trade system to ensure accuracy of the deal capture
  • Reconcile broker recaps and investigate any mismatches
  • Draft and ensure timely dispatch of all Counterparty Confirmations
  • Receive and reconcile all Counterparty Confirmations
  • Chase outstanding and overdue Confirmations to ensure receipt within contractual deadlines
  • Monitor electronic Confirmations (both Broker and Counterparty) for failures and resolve through to successful match
  • Ensure compliance at all times with the Global Contracts Control Framework and relevant SOX Controls
  • Support the provision of regular KPIs
  • Maintain desktop procedures to reflect current processes
  • Handling any other ad hoc Trading / Confirmation requests and queries as required
