Job Description

A top UK Law Firm is looking to hire a Paralegal to work in the Trade Mark team either two or 3 days a week for an initial 3 months. The role will offer flexibility and the successful candidate to choose the days to work. The role offers a generous salaryplus agile working is on offer.Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation and filing of trade mark applications and oppositions
  • Following up on progress of trade marks from filing through to registration
  • Assisting the trade mark administrator with keeping the trade mark records and diary dates up to date
  • Completing standard letters for trade mark applications and oppositions
  • Conducting IP searches
  • Dealing with the relevant trade mark registries and overseas attorneys
  • Responding to telephone enquiries
  • Assisting with IP research
  • Assisting the Partners and associates with ad hoc duties as necessary
  • Keeping abreast of technology changes by undergoing training where necessary complying with the firms practices, procedures and quality standards
The successful Paralegal must be available to start work immediately, and able to commit to the 3 months. Ideally the candidate will have paralegal experience and a keen interest in the Trade Mark space.
