Trade Mark formalities Paralegal LiverpoolRef 924433An international law firm with highly regarded Trade Mark team now have a new role due to continued expansion. A dedicated Formalities role this role will suit an administrator/paralegal with Trade mark experience.Within a thriving team you will be integral team member with key responsibilities includingUndertaking trade mark and design filing, prosecution, and IPO Formalities tasks,working directly with the associates/attorneys and the partners.Completing and submitting IPO forms for new trade mark and design applications,oppositions, assignments, and other RecordalsLiaising with foreign associates regarding new trade mark and design applications,assignments, and other IPO-related actions.Liaising directly with clients for reporting standard updates and handling basic portfolio[1]related client queries, including preparing schedules.Assisting with tracking all correspondence from IPOs and foreign associates includingresponses to office actions and maintaining the associated deadlines.Checking and reporting certificates and other official documents.Timely and accurate entering/removing/amending of data in WebTMS system, includingsuitable file notes.Conducting identical and proprietor searches.Assisting with checking and managing all deadlines for the IPM group.Assisting with new file/case opening.Preparing cost estimates for national and international filing and Recordal projectsTo qualify for this opportunity you will have experience in Trademark/brands administration - if you possess the ITMA certificate that would be excellent and if you have previous experience on Web TMS we will be highly impressed!Regrettably this is not a position for an aspiring paralegal or trainee lawyer, it is a dedicated trademark administration opportunity.
