Are you an ACA / ACCA qualified Audit Senior or a finalist / experienced Audit Semi Senior, looking to join a Top 60 / medium size firm and work with some very high profile media, entertainment, gaming and Film & TV clients Or are you currently working for a larger firm and looking to work for a smaller firm in order to achieve a better work life balance plus faster progression to Manager grade Are you looking for a firm which will provide structured training and progression to ease you into your next role Are you also looking to work for a firm which has a great track record of promoting from within, so that you will be able to progress to manager grade in a short space of time Based in the Audit & Assurance department, your role will be split between audit assignments and some statutory accounts and basic corporation tax work but the exact split can vary depending on your background and areas of expertise. If you have come from a small or medium firm background the role can be 50% audit and 50% accounts and tax but if you are from a larger firm background the role can be 80% audit with the remainder of your time advisory based. You will also gain exposure to special projects and advisory assignments such as cash flows, business plans, fraud investigations, general performance analysis, budgets, forecasts and competition analysis. You will be based in a busy and growing Audit & Assurance department, and work on many large and household names in the following sectors: Film & Tv, Media & Entertainment, Computer Games, Animations, Music, Post Production, Theatres, Sports, Fashion and many other high profile and interesting sectors. You will also get to advise a number of exciting rapidly growing entrepreneurial start ups including interesting Tech start ups. Many of the partners in this firm started as trainees or Seniors with the firm and they always promote from within, meaning you will be provided with every opportunity to progress to manager and then partner grade. This firm has had great success with people who have trained around the UK and have relocated to London to gain exposure to larger clients and better career opportunities. The firm will also allow flexible / home working 1 - 2 days a week for the foreseeable future.To be considered for this new role you must either be an ACA Finalist with a few exams left, a fully qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Senior, or an Audit Supervisor / Assistant Manager with some post qualification experience. It is likely you will be working in a medium size accountancy firm and looking to step up, or be working for a larger accountancy firm and looking to work for a smaller firm for a better work life balance and progression opportunities. You must have experience of leading audit assignments from planning to completion, preparing statutory accounts, reviewing the work of juniors and liaising with clients. Your current role must be at least 40 - 50% audit based. A strong interest in working with media and entertainment clients is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
