Are you a qualified ACCA or ACA (or finalist with a few exams remaining) Accounts Senior / Business Services Senior / Outsourcing Senior looking to upgrade to a large Top 20 international accountancy practice firm based in the heart of the City, and gain exposure to financial services clients Are you keen to be trained so that you can work with and advise a wide range of business, including large listed companies, groups and high growth entrepreneurial clients Are you also keen to work in a modern, forward thinking international firm with around 400 staff, be based in a friendly team and receive excellent promotional prospects so you can become a manager in a short space of time Based in a niche team which specialises in all the firms high profile FCA regulated businesses, you will gain exposure to a range of businesses including insurance companies, investment companies, hedge fund managers, investment advisors, brokers, corporate finance companies, private equity and many other financial services and FCA regulated companies. your role will be varied, enjoyable and challenging. The role is hands on and also includes a large advisory element. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, the production of both statutory and management accounts, as well as Vat returns, tax returns, cash flows, financial forecasting and being trained so that you can prepare FCA returns. You will also be responsible for ad hoc assignments and advisory projects and reports on a regular basis. The firm will also allow flexible working and will allow someone to work from home one to two days a week going forwards.To be considered for this new role it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA or ACA or be a finalist with a few exams remaining until fully qualified. You must have no more than 2 years of PQE. It is likely you will be an Accounts Senior or Business Services Senior currently working in a good quality practice firm, looking to upgrade to a larger firm and work with financial services based clients in a more established team with better progression to managerial grade. Your current role must include the preparation of statutory accounts and management accounts, as well as the preparation and review of VAT returns. It would be an advantage if you had experience of a wide range of software packages including Xero, Sage and Quickbooks. It is also vital that you are well presented, well spoken and professional as this is a client facing position.
