Pupils primary need is visual impairment in conjunction with other special needs. We have a highly diverse pupil population with abilities ranging from PMLD to visually-impaired pupils within the average cognitive range.Our in -house therapy team was established in September 2019 and is going from strength to strength. Our aim is to build a strong ethos of integrated and evidenced-based therapy working collaboratively with other specialists in school.We have a rare opportunity for a highly experienced Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical Leadership Team. This vacancy has arisen due to the promotion of the current post holder.There will be ample opportunity to develop your leadership and professional profile. The Clinical lead is a member of the schools leadership team.The role will include day to day management, as well as development and maintenance of a fully integrated and high quality multi-disciplinary therapy team. The post holder will provide clinical leadership, supervision (where appropriate) and management of therapy staff. They will promote a culture of continuing professional development responsive to the specialist needs of the children, families and staff of Linden Lodge School.There is a diverse range of clinical specialisms within Linden Lodge School and the post holder, utilising their experience of working in and developing SEN therapy services, will to be a source of expert therapy advice and skilled support for all members of the school community.We will support your development through a commitment to regular monitoring meetings with stakeholders, CPD and a protected training budget.
