Job Description

Registered Theatre Nurse/ODPNew Hospital opening March 2022!Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of new hospital opening in Fitzrovia. The hospital will be a fully independent facility which will offer a variety of surgical procedures such as orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, ophthalmic, gynaecology, urology,and endoscopies.The Hospital will be approved for overnight stay, general anaesthesia, including TIVA, and intravenous sedation, endoscopy, and laser treatment.The hospital will be opening in March 2022, and are currently recruiting aRegistered Theatre Nurse or ODP to their Theatre team and support the goal of the company to create an environment that delivers world-class clinical care.Overview of the Job Role:

  • To exhibit excellent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills in clinical practise.
  • To conduct clinical care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) code of professional conduct, promoting high standards of care and patient safety at all times in line with national bestpractice guidelines.
  • To deliver safe quality care for patients during their perioperative phase of care. To support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
  • To ensure that patient confidentiality is always maintained and to demonstrate the ability to be sensitive to patient needs.
  • Assemble, check, and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.
  • To actively contribute to the success of the patient journey from registration to discharge.
