Job Description

The partnership will enable the company to meet its growth ambitions and build on opportunities to expand its client base in the UK and internationalmarkets.SUMMARYA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an OAT Test Manager to join our Technology Consulting Services business and initially to be part of a recently awarded long term Managed Service.The candidates must have a solid understanding of cloud technology (with a very strong preference for Azure)Role: Test Manager (OAT/Resiliency)End Client: Online Fashion and Cosmetic retailerLocation: London / RemoteDuration: Perm or FTCSalary: £75k to £85k p/a + benefitsDESCRIPTION

  • To be accountable for the e-Commerce resiliency resting coverage and schedule
  • Ensure, through engagement with golden thread microservices that all system dependencies are evaluated, from which clear scope is defined
  • Draft test approaches based on defined scope
  • Track progress of the Resiliency test cycle for each of the microservices
  • Assess optimal test environment for each scenario - encourage shift left where possible
  • Report on regular progress and open risks/issues
  • Ensure teams update their runbooks based on the outcomes of the resiliency tests
  • Test co-ordination
    • Aligning key stakeholders from different teams
    • Ensuring environment is scaled as per the test requirement
    • Ensuring test pack meets the test requirement
    • Clear communication before during and after tests
  • Ensure next steps are clearly documented in test report
  • Enhance the current resiliency testing capability to also include chaos simulation, conducting a proof of concept against a tool of choice and thereafter building a test strategy to roll this out into shift-left and larger scaled tests in the path-to-liveenvironment.
