Youll make sure the stuff we build, maintain and modernise is efficient, accessible and works when people need to lean on DWP.Day to day you will:

• Test all areas of the products - functional, business requirements, performance, security and accessibility.
• Work with other engineers and multidisciplinary experts, to build brilliant products and to share knowledge and capability
• Challenge current processes, and identify tooling the right tooling for the job, to take testing forward in DWP
• Use your knowledge on industry standard automated test tools, to build automated test solutions
• Build your skills and career, through formal training, coaching, mentoring and whatever else you need to be at your best

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need

• Experience of working in complex, multi-disciplinary environments, with multiple product streams, engaging with senior stakeholders while delivering to enthusiastic time-scales.
• Comprehensible experience in software testing within an Agile delivery team (Working in TDD), for example Git, CI/CD (Jenkins, GO, GitLab), Page Object Model (Selenium/Webdriver), BDD(Cucumber/JBehave/Lettuce/Jasmine/Specflow/ Pytest) and the testing ofmicro services (APIs, REST, Message Bus, Message Queue etc).
• Demonstrable understanding of Non-Functional testing including Performance, Accessibility and Security Testing with adherence to relevant policy/law.
