Test Analyst - Retail/eCommerce - 12 month FTC £50k - £60k potentailly 6 month contract £350 - £425 a dayWere looking for a Test Analyst with previous experience of working on a large digital/eCommerce transformation within the retail sector. You will be responsible for providing Test Analysis expertise on a major Digital Transformation Programme ensuring that functional and non-functional requirements are tested thoroughly in line with the programme delivery methodology (iterative development/test), across all phases of testing (system, integration, end-to-end, performance).You will be involved in Test Analysis and Planning, Test Execution, Test Support, Defect and Issue Management and Reporting and Escalation.Candidates must have a proven track record of analysing, planning, scripting and executing tests across the various phases of the software delivery lifecycle and have solid experience of delivering test services as part of an ecommerce delivery programme. Youll need experience of working as part of a CI/CD development team using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and be confident in using Agile tools e.g. JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence. Youll also have a comprehensive understanding of functional and non-functional testing strategies and a good understanding of common retail and e-commerce systems. Experience of testing with ERP, CRM, Integration, PIM, and BI products required for example MS Dynamics AX 2012, MS SQL, BigCommerce, Bloomreach, Hybris and Mulesoft is also essential.It goes without saying that youll possess first class communication and interpersonal skills and have demonstrable experience of developing good stakeholder relationships. Youll have the ability to work proficiently and accurately in a fast-paced dynamic environment, with excellent attention to detail and be a good Team player able to work in a multi disciplined retail environment.Youll need to be able to work well under pressure, to tight deadlines but always maintaining a commitment to delivering quality outcomes and be self-motivated and able to work independently - to organise, manage and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met.This is ideally a 12 month FTC but they may consider a daily rate contract at £350 - £425 a day.This is an urgent role and were looking at arranging interviews next week and starting ideally on the 4th Jan so please email your cv asap.
