Job Description

Temporary Works Designer - LondonWorking for a Main contractors in house Temporary works team delivering major projects across LondonSalary - £55,000 - £63,000 basic + PackageLocations - LondonRole DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Temporary Works designer to join a main contractors in house design team focused on large projects across the UK including High Speed 2. With a varied portfolio you will be design temporary works for various sections of major projects. Designs such as :-

  • Retaining walls,
  • Excavations,
  • Frame supports,
  • Shaft & Tunnels
  • Temporary plant bases
  • Temporary site offices
    • You need to be working in a full time Temporary work design position as this is a fast-paced environment with little time for developing your basic skills. This would suit someone looking for a variety of temporary works, developing your skills in to a Senior Designer or Design Manager. Focusing on Infrastructure based projects including:-
  • Highways
  • Rail
  • Water
  • Tunnelling
  • Environmental
    • You can be from a Civil Engineering or Geotechnical background as long as you are design focused.Required Experience
  • You need to have experience of Temporary work designs as this is key for the position
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
  • There will be a mix of home based and office based working due to the COVID restrictions.
