This is an exciting time to join the organisation. Our core values of innovation, teamwork, caring, respect, enthusiasm and openness provide a real foundation for learning and supporting staff. This post is situated in our Domestic Abuse Hub (DAH) and is part of a dynamic team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs).We have a committed and knowledgeable team of professionals who strive to deliver the very best service to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse. The Domestic Abuse Hub offer a whole family approach where appropriate, and ensures support is available by the right person at the right time, with a focus on risk management, safety and what matters to the family/ individual. Its an exciting time to join the service as we are supporting the implementation of the DRIVE Project, which is an intensive intervention that works with high-harm and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse to challenge behaviour and prevent abuse. DRIVE is due to be rolled out across the Western Bay region, and requires a victim safety element for the partners/ ex-partners of those engaging. The IDVA (DRIVE Lead) will integrate into the existing IDVA provision and provide a single point of contact for the DRIVE team.We are looking for candidates who recognise and understand the dynamics of domestic abuse, and the importance of the victims voice in safety planning and risk management.Swansea is also developing and supporting the link between performance and practice and is adopting an innovative approach to using performance data to improve the service delivery as a whole.Swansea is a great place to live and work. Its an innovative waterfront city at the heart of the wider Swansea Bay City Region. From stunning coastal scenery to tranquil parks, a thriving cultural scene to the best of modern city living, the city offers the best of all worlds. For further information please contact Megan Stevens via email on .uk To apply, please visit our website via the button below.
