Job Description

Work the the Head of Consumer Insight to manage the strategic planning research agenda and provide both consumer and professional insight knowledge to all parts of the business.Client DetailsOur client are a Globally recognised Beauty & Lifestyle Brand.DescriptionThe Consumer Insight Manager will get involved in the following:

  • Manage the consumer and stylist focused ad-hoc and continuous research project work
  • Develop ongoing partnerships with external providers of both qual and quant research to improve the research capabilities
  • Provide best practice guidance on the market research agenda
  • Build an in-depth knowledge and understanding of all target audiences (both consumer & professional)
  • Brief, manage through and communicate business-wide a regular schedule of market research initiatives as briefed by the Innovation/ Marketing team
  • Develop a thorough understanding of global competitor activity within the category via bench marking and market tracking
  • Support the Global Marketing Team and Local Marketing Teams with ad-hoc research queries
  • Lead the research agenda in relation to new product development to feed our innovation pipeline
  • Brand health tracking via identification of key metrics and regular research activity
  • Manage the annual Planning Budget spend
  • ProfileThe candidate that secures this position will be Immediately Available and bring the following skills and attributes:
  • Strong experience in working on both qualitative & quantitative market research projects across concept development, product pricing and communication with deep understanding of different methodologies
  • Extremely strong analytical skills with the ability to present findings in clear and impactful manner
  • Commercial experience and sounds business and finance understanding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders to gather data, disseminate insights and manage requests
  • Self-starter, comfortable with leading tasks from the outset and managing change
  • Meticulous attention to detail with excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines, managing own time and utilising initiative
  • Capable of directing and briefing external agencies
  • Job OfferCompetitive PAYE Daily rate & circa initial 3 month Temporary contract. Required skills
