Job Description

Job Title: Field Based Telematics engineerSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE + OvertimeLocation: Mobile - London AreaAlecto Recruitment are working together with our client to find an Experienced Telematics engineer.Fantastic New opportunity to be a part of a well established company looking to grow their already impressive team.Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm + Weekend days paid Overtime 1 per month expected-This is a Full-Time permanent mobile position in the London Area. (door to door pay)The responsibilities:

  • Traveling to various clients sites/Liaising with clients on site
  • Installation of blind spot detection systems (warning alarms, blind spot/parking sensors)
  • Installation of trackers and telematic kits in a wide variety of vehicles
  • Attending calls needing fault diagnosis and repair where necessary
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Automitive electrical experience or Auto electrical qualifications of 12vdc or 24vdc
  • Good customer service skills as daily client interaction
  • experience fitting and diagnosing cameras / sensors
  • Experience working on a wide range of vehicles such as HGV/LGV/cars
  • Full driving licence
