Job Description

Telecoms Service Delivery Executive /2nd Line Support TechnicianLONDONUp to £40,000 + BENEFITSWe have a great opportunity for a Telecoms Service Delivery Executive / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a well-established and expanding business.The role of the 2nd Line Support / IT Administrator is primarily to work alongside the IT Manager to maintain the existing IT Infrastructure and systems and manage new projects/installations.RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides advanced support services to our clients across the globe
  • Working alongside colleagues and clients on proactive and reactive projectsWorking on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Supporting with and/or installing IP telephony systems
  • Meeting client deadlines and expectations
  • Deployment and support for MS Teams and Office 365
  • Working with Asterisk systems
  • Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking
    • THE PERSON:
  • Previous experience in in 3rd/ 2nd line support functions within the telecoms industry
  • Experience in a hands-on role supporting and/or installing IP telephony systems
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Teams and Office 365
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows 7 & 8
  • Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructures
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be an excellent problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • The role requires good knowledge and analysis of SIP signalling and IP communications protocols, along with popular IP phones.
