Job Description

Technology Training SpecialistMy client a leading international law firm based in the heart of the city are recruiting for a Technology Training Specialist.

  • You will be responsible for delivering training for all attorneys and staff.
  • Maintaining training standards, and reporting key success indicators.
  • Training delivery includes virtual, classroom training, webinars, individual coaching, support, and document troubleshooting.
  • Create basic troubleshooting documentation, along with detailed step-by-step instruction for the user, and deliver training
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, proper use of Word to construct legal documents and the use of Document Management is essential along with the ability to learn new applications quickly, proficiently, and independently.
  • New hire training will be the primary focus of this role initially however, the Technology Training Specialist will also be involved with rollout of projects, floor walking and identifying training needs of users to develop further training. Training deliveryincludes classroom training, webinars, individual coaching, support, and document troubleshooting.
  • The Technology Training Specialist follows Firmwide standard lesson plans when training. Provides end-user support on advanced topics as needed.
  • Works to understand how lawyers, legal assistants, secretarial and other staff work to provide targeted training.
  • Develops training materials following technical documentation best practices.
  • Promotes positive public relations for technology and the IT Department.
Education, Work Experience, SkillsComes with sound knowledge of core software use and works to gain sound knowledge in applications where gaps exist as identified by the Associate Director of IT Training.Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products, proper use of Word to construct legal documents and the use of Document Management is essential, as is the ability to learn new applications quickly, proficiently, and independently.
